AST’s – Forklift Tyne Measurement System (FTMS) is a very effective material handling tool that addresses issues of controlling/reducing/avoiding product damage, increasing productivity and creating a safer work environment. The system completely reduces chances of lifting up a second pallet when double racking and minimizes puncturing products stored behind the pallet.
*No need for the forklift driver to hang his head out of the safety roll cage continuously to view the tyne depth when entering every pallet.
The (FTMS) is designed to be a standalone safety solution and can be relocated to another forklift when your lease is up or simply upgrading.
The (FTMS) awakens when the Lidar detects that you are entering a pallet. The digital display will give you the depth you are entering into the pallet and also we have colour coded the LED strip lighting to match your pallet depths.
